Lake Forest Hospital Paramedic Program

Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital (NMLFH) hosts the Paramedic Program and is a Joint Commission accredited, full service hospital. NMLFH works in collaboration with the College of Lake County to provide college credit and a pathway to obtain either a Certificate or Associates Degree in Applied Science.
The goal of our program is to prepare competent entry level Paramedics in the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective learning domains with or without exit points at the EMT-Intermediate, and/or EMT-Basic and/or First Responder Level.
North Region EMS Paramedic Program Outcomes
Overall pass rate indicates students that passed the NREMT within six attempts
Initial pass rate indicates students that passed the NREMT within three attempts
1st attempt pass rate indicates students who passed the NREMT on their first attempt
